Cupcake Invite

I made these for my Godchild's first birthday. For this project, I used my Sweet Treat Cartridge. Which is one of my favorite cartridges. Check out the link to see what it can cut!
I had to custom make the wrapper so the cupcake could slide in and out. I just used a hole punch for the sprinkles.

I even scored lines to make it look like a real wrapper.

Baby Blessings

This was a really fun card to make and sorry the picture is not that clear. The card is  6"x6". I used Create a Critter for the frog and dragonfly. Baby blessings is from Wild Card. All the paper is from DCWV. I just had to use this ribbon because the colors were so perfect for this. I think the ribbon really finished it off. Also I lined the the frog and backdrop with a green and blue Gelly Roll pen. Of course, I used pop dots to adhere the frog and dragonfly.
I even made a little frog for the envelope.

And here is the inside.

Merry Christmas Reindeer

I got the idea for this card from my favorite Blogger Donna Mundinger. I used Cricut design studio (DS) to create this card. DS is very easy to use and I LOVE IT! This is by far the most complicated card I've made so far but it was well worth it. I used Create a CritterOpposites Attract, and George and Basic. The paper is from DCWV. I really LOVE the Create a Critter Cartridge and I can't use it enough.
Here are two side views, so you can see the may layers. And of course it's adhered with pop dots.

Reindeer Card

This is another 4"x 5.5" card. The reindeer is from Create a Critter cartridge. I cut the base of the reindeer in a shiny brown and I used glitter paper for the scarf and nose. When cutting glitter paper be sure you use multi cut, so it cuts all the way through. Season's Greeting is from Wild Card cartridge. I cut the stripe background with Spellbinders Nestabilites label eight. I just purchased those last weekend and I'm really falling in love with them. They are easy to use, once I figured out how to use them with the Cuttlebug. Once again, all the paper if from DCWV.

I used pop dot to adhere the reindeer and the stripe background. I couldn't think of anything to write in the inside so I googled reindeer jokes. I though Reindeer Pokey would be great fit for this card.

Frosty the Snowman Card

I can't believe Christmas is only 10 days away. I made this card for my Little Buddy Egan. It's a 4"x5.5" card. I used my doodle charms cartridge to cut the snow globe, the snowman, and the snowflakes. I used pop dots to adhere some of the snowflakes.
You can barely see it but I glued a piece of plastic over the globe to make it look like glass. I used the plastic from a Cricut Cartridge wrapper. The snow globe base is trimmed with a silver Gelly Roll pen.
This is the inside of the card. I printed Christmas jokes on a piece of white card stock. Then cut and embossed it with a label eight Nestabilities. I hope Egan enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Go Wild Birthday!

Sorry, the photo is not the best. I'm a crafter not a photographer...LOL. I created this card for my friend Andrew's birthday. This card is 5.5" x 5.5". I used "Create a Critter" for the cat and for Go Wild.  To create the faux stiches, I used a white Gelly Roll pen. All the paper is from DCWV.

I had everyone from the office sign it.

Welcome!

I’ve always enjoyed card making but my love for card making changed when I received a Cricut, in 2009. I was given a red Cricut from my mom and sister as a Christmas gift. From the moment I took it out of the box and plugged it in… I was hooked. I started with only 4 cartridges and my collection has grown to 20. I only buy cartridges I know I’m going to use and I must say I do use all of them! About 8 months ago, I purchased Cricut Design Studio and I love it. It has allowed me to create cards in a whole new way. I hope you follow me on my journey or even be inspired to create your own creations.
